Our Facilities for Martial Arts in Leeds

Our martial arts classes take place at our Academy on Tong Road, Leeds, with two high-quality training areas. Mat 1 is 160 meters squared of clean white Dollamur mats. Mat 2 is 100 meters squared of the same, with an adjacent 60 meter squared strength and conditioning area.

Our strength and conditioning area includes an olympic dead lifting platform, squat rack, bench press, free weights, kettle bells, maces and specialised rehab equipment.

We have male and female changing rooms, toilets and showers.

HERE ARE ANSWERS TO SOME OF THE MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You cannot get fit enough to do martial arts without training martial arts. Many students come to us to improve their fitness and the only way to build the strength, endurance and flexibility required is to start training.

You don’t need to be in peak condition to start and you can progress at your own pace!

Starting anything new can be scary but we work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Our coaches and students are friendly and supportive and you’ll feel welcome and supported from day one.

We also have beginner only sessions to get you up to speed with people at the same stage of their journey as you.

Everyone has to start somewhere. We are proud to have world champions training alongside occasional hobbyists. Everybody gets the most out of their sessions because the goal of our classes is improvement, which will happen even when there are skill gaps.

As a beginner you have one advantage: You will never improve as quickly as when you first start, so even if you’re not the best in the room your journey will be fulfilling.

Safety is our top priority but martial arts is a full contact activity and there is always a risk of injury.

We only teach techniques that can be practiced safely with a training partner and have full risk assessments in place. You can inform yourself about potential risks in our terms and conditions.
